This policy explains how creator subscriptions on DrumBlocx are billed, how to cancel, and when you can get money back. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
The free practice tools are not covered here — they cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
You can cancel at any time, and there is no cancellation fee.
What happens next: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing further is charged. When that period ends, access to that creator's paid content stops — including content you could see earlier. If there is anything you can download, download it before then.
Each subscription is cancelled separately. If you subscribe to more than one creator, cancelling one does not touch the others.
Changing tiers instead of cancelling. If you move to a different tier from the same creator, we change your existing subscription rather than starting a second one — you are never billed twice by the same creator at the same time. The price difference is worked out for the days remaining in the current month, and depending on the tier is either charged straight away or applied to your next invoice. Either way you are only ever charged for what you actually used.
Because the creator is the merchant of record, refunds are the creator's decision and are paid out of the creator's own Stripe account. Creators may set their own refund terms, as long as those terms do not take away rights you have under the law.
We do not offer a blanket "change of mind" refund on subscriptions, because you can cancel at any time and you keep what you have already paid for until the period ends.
Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If there is a major failure — for example the service or the content is substantially different from what was described, or is unfit for its purpose and cannot be fixed within a reasonable time — you are entitled to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for the reduced value. You may also be entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time, and if it is not fixed, to a refund.
In plain terms, ask for a refund and expect to get one if:
If you live outside Australia, you may have similar or stronger rights where you live — for example a statutory cooling-off period. Those rights apply on top of this policy, not instead of it.
We aim to reply within 5 business days.
A full refund ends your access to that creator's paid content straight away. A partial refund is handled case by case and does not automatically end access.
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, access to that creator's paid content ends immediately while the dispute runs. Please email us before doing this — a chargeback costs the creator a fee on top of the disputed amount, and most problems are quicker to fix directly.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over the following days and emails you. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and access stops. You can re-subscribe at any time.
A creator can change the price of a tier. An increase does not apply to you until you are notified and given the chance to cancel before your next payment.
